Life in Costa Rica is supposed to be an easy endeavor for everyone; after all, how hard can it be to live in a country where “Pura Vida” is not just a motto, but rather a philosophy of being and living? Thousands of expats find themselves mystified by Pura Vida and decide to give it a try without realizing that underneath the Zen-like visage of life in Costa Rica there are a number of intricacies that one must surmount before reaching that coveted state of being.

Costa Rica is definitely easy, but there is a certain way that she must be approached and assimilated. Part of the country’s charms reside in the multitude of quirks that Ticos and expats encounter just about everyday. A number of seemingly mundane and quotidian tasks in Costa Rica can be difficult to navigate; case in point: banking, real estate, importing a car, paying taxes, having a child, etc. Pura Vida is hard to achieve when you are constantly worried about whether your vehicle will pass the annual safety inspection, or when and where your utility bills should be paid, or if your high-school age children should seek admission to a vocational institute, etc.
Costa Rica Easy is a new online social network that relies on the strength of its members to provide uncomplicated solutions to everyday problems that should not be so complicated after all. Costa Rica Easy aims to be the go-to information and knowledge site for foreigners and locals to come together and solve some of our country’s deepest mysteries, such as where to find kosher food, who is expected to pay luxury tax, what do Ticas really want from their romantic partners, what are the best language schools, what does the law really say about recreational drug use, how to check the repair history of used vehicles, and more.
The Costa Rica Easy Advantage
The strength of Costa Rica Easy will be the online social interaction of members and the general societal consensus it creates. In this sense, the collective consciousness of Costa Rica is not simply Pura Vida -it’s more about how to achieve it. While there are plenty of Ticos and expats who live in a constant flux of Pura Vida, there will always be small challenges that can be overcome with the best practices and recommendation found in Costa Rica Easy.
Aside from being a hub for enabling Pura Vida, Costa Rica Easy allows sharing of photos, thoughts, blogs, comments, and a lot more. Members can sign in using existing credentials from other social networks, and contributors will always have a platform they can access for announcements, advertising and a marketplace for products, services and ideas. Most importantly, members of Costa Rica Easy will have fun getting to know the wonderful people that make living in this country a pleasant experience.
